Privacy Policy

All The Good Things, LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates El Profe (the El Profe mobile app and website, together the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Service. By using El Profe, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: email, phone number (for SMS verification), username, country and language preference.
  • Usage data: picks you view, virtual bets you place, chat messages you send to the El Profe AI, team and league preferences, leaderboard rank.
  • Device data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, approximate location (country and state level), referring URL.
  • Authentication tokens if you sign in with Google, Apple, or another provider.

We do not collect payment card data, Social Security numbers, or government ID numbers.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide personalized AI analysis and recommendations
  • Operate virtual currency, leaderboards, and community features
  • Send push notifications about new picks or events (opt-out available)
  • Communicate about the Service
  • Analyze usage to improve features
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.

We share limited information with:

  • Service providers: hosting (Vercel), database and authentication (Supabase), AI processing (Anthropic), push notifications (OneSignal), analytics services. Each provider is contractually required to protect your data.
  • Affiliate partners: when you click a “Bet on [partner]” link, a unique referral code is sent to the partner. No personal profile data is shared at that point. (Not currently active; will be disclosed at the point of use.)
  • Legal compliance: when required by law, subpoena, or court order; or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and local storage for keeping you logged in, remembering preferences, and basic analytics. You can control cookies in browser settings.

5. Data Retention

  • Active account data: retained while your account is active.
  • Deleted account data: anonymized within 30 days; transaction logs retained for 12 months for fraud prevention.
  • Chat messages with El Profe AI: 90 days unless you delete them sooner.
  • Aggregated non-identifiable analytics: retained indefinitely.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port your data, opt out of marketing, or object to certain processing. Email privacy@profe.bet to exercise these rights; we respond within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA)

Additional rights including opt-out of sale. We do not sell your personal information.

EU/UK residents (GDPR)

Additional rights including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Mexican residents (LFPDPPP)

7. International Data Transfers

All The Good Things, LLC is based in the United States. Your data may be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

8. Children

El Profe is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact privacy@profe.bet and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption and access controls. No internet-based service is 100% secure; absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites including sports betting operators. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. For material changes, we will notify you in-app at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
